Energy Manager (f/m/x)

Your mission
As an Energy Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and controlling of energy supply for our charging sites across 24 European countries. You will actively manage supplier relationships, optimize energy supply contracts, and support energy-related projects. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, negotiation expertise, and a strong understanding of the energy market.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management:
    • Manage supplier relationships and resolve energy-related issues across 24 European countries.
    • Actively manage suppliers through revision, optimization, and further development of energy supply contracts.
  • Financial Control:
    • Control all power supply contracts and invoices for all charging stations.
    • Commercial planning, budgeting, monitoring, and controlling for all charging sites.
  • Energy Procurement and Trading:
    • Engage in energy procurement and commodity trading to optimize costs and efficiency.
  • Analysis and Modeling:
    • Conduct energy-related analysis and modeling to support strategic decision-making.
    • Support of our Roll-Out colleagues and energy related projects.
Your profile
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, but we are open to considering recent graduates with relevant academic backgrounds.
  • Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Power Engineering with business management experience required.
  • Several years of professional experience in an (energy) purchasing organization desired.
  • Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness, even in challenging situations.
  • Self-organized and willing to take personal responsibility.
  • Proficient in MS-Excel, PowerBI, and SAP.
  • Familiarity with programming languages (VBA, Python, or similar) is a plus.
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience working with external consultants.
  • Excellent English and German communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Specialized Skills:
    • Required:
      • Procurement experience.
      • Experience in negotiating and drafting contracts.
      • Supplier management expertise.
      • Advanced knowledge of business administration.
    • Desired:
      • Experience in energy-related topics.
      • Experience in financial accounting.
      • Experience in commodity trading.
  • Remote work is possible, but regular presence in our Munich office is desired (minimum every 2 months).
