You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to define system requirements, steer in-house developments, evaluate innovative technologies, and support the integration of smart charging capabilities into IONITY’s future charging ecosystem.
- Define and own the technical roadmap for Smart Charging Systems within IONITY.
- Lead the development and evolution ofIONITY’sin-house load management controller and related smart charging applications.
- Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces between charging stations, energy management systems, backend platforms, and grid operators.
- Drive technology scouting and evaluation of new smart charging technologies, market solutions, and industry trends.
- Lead pilot projects and proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies such asRoboCharging, automated charging solutions, and advanced charging automation concepts.
- Define concepts for grid-friendly charging, dynamic power allocation, demand response, and charging optimization.
- Support the integration of energy assets such as battery storage systems and renewable energy sources into smart charging strategies.
- Lead technical development projects and coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Management to translate business needs into technical solutions and product requirements.
- Collaborate with(Information) Technologyto translateintegrate solutions into the IONITY backend systems
- Evaluate supplier solutions and support procurement activities from a technical perspective.
- Lead and contribute to national and international standardization activities related to smart charging technologies.
- Support internal departments and external partners with technicalexpertiseon smart charging systems and future charging technologies.
